APPRENTICESHIP

Cooks prepare, season and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods. They schedule and supervise kitchen helpers and oversee kitchen operations, while maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.

Experienced workers who have not completed an Ontario apprenticeship but have equivalent qualifications or experience in their trade can use the Trade Equivalency Assessment Process.
